About our range

Every wine on this page has been tasted by Richard before it earned its place. That is the whole idea behind Portman Wine: a range small enough to know properly, and priced so you can drink well on a Wednesday as easily as a Saturday.

The list runs from Burgundy and the Rhône to Stellenbosch and Swartland, Puglia, Argentina and the south of England. Some of it you will recognise, plenty of it you will not, and that is rather the point. Prices start around £15 for everyday drinking and run to about £40 for something worth opening slowly.

We are currently showing a lot from South Africa, because the estates there are doing exceptional work and we have direct relationships with several of them. Use the filters to narrow by grape, country, region or price. Free UK delivery on six bottles or more.
