TerraNoble has been making wine in Chile since 1993, with vineyards spread across the Casablanca, Colchagua and Maule valleys so each grape can be grown where it does best. This Reserva is pure Pinot Noir grown in the Casablanca Valley, a coastal region cooled by Pacific breezes and morning fog. That cooler setting suits Pinot Noir, a famously fussy grape, helping it keep freshness and perfume rather than turning jammy or overripe. A portion of the wine rests in oak to add a little gentle structure without masking the fruit.

The 2018 season in Chile’s coastal valleys allowed a steady, unhurried ripening that favoured elegant, aromatic reds. That balance shows in a Pinot Noir that feels bright and lifted rather than heavy or overworked, the sort of vintage that plays to Casablanca’s cool-climate strengths.
