Prophet’s Rock is a boutique Central Otago estate at Bendigo, known for precise, site-expressive wines under winemaker Paul Pujol. The estate is small and hands-on, and its whites are made with the same care as its Pinot Noir. Its Pinot Gris is treated as a serious white in its own right rather than an afterthought, with time in old barrels adding depth.

This is pure Pinot Gris grown in the warm, schist-influenced Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago. Some of the wine sees time in seasoned oak, which builds texture and a subtle savoury complexity while leaving the fruit fresh and precise. The house aim is a Gris with concentration and balance rather than easy sweetness.
