Bellevue may be famous for reds, but its whites make the most of cooler, higher sites on the estate. Sitting in the Bottelary Hills near False Bay, the farm catches Atlantic sea breezes that pull temperatures down in the afternoons, exactly the freshness that aromatic white grapes like Sauvignon Blanc need to keep their zip.

The fruit comes from low-yielding vines on two of the estate’s highest slopes, one facing south and the other south-west into the prevailing breeze. To keep everything fresh and precise, Kritzinger ferments the wine in stainless steel and rests it on fine lees for a little more texture before bottling. It is the Estate range’s crispest, most summery white.

The 2025 vintage was a standout in the Cape, with a long, even ripening season and cool nights that helped white grapes build flavour while holding on to bright acidity. The palate is racy and dry, its tropical fruit shadowed by a blackcurrant-leaf freshness and a clean, mineral edge, all carried by mouth-watering acidity to a long, refreshing finish.
