Beaumont Family Wines sits on Compagnes Drift, a historic farm in the Overberg village of Bot River that was first a Dutch East India Company trading post in the 1700s. The family bought the property in 1974 and released its first wine in 1994, and the cellar is one of the oldest still working in the area.
